# Moodle support resources

This page contains a collection of brief instructions and links that may help you with your Moodle question, whatever it may be.

## General information

- **Creating/logging into an Account**
    - See [Setting up your Moodle Account](https://helpdesk.brynathyn.edu/books/accounts/page/setting-up-your-moodle-account "Setting up your Moodle Account")
- **Requesting Course Creation**
    - Email Helpdesk (helpdesk@brynathyn.edu), being sure to include:
        - The full course number and title for your course
        - The term you will be teaching it
- **Enrolling in a Course**
    1. Log in to [https://moodle.brynathyn.edu/](https://moodle.brynathyn.edu/). 
        - This opens the **Course Categories** page.
    2. Browse the categories to the course you wish to join and click its title.
    3. Click **Enroll me**.
        - In the left-hand navigation column, courses you are enrolled in appear under **My courses**.

    - Users can record short video/audio (2mins or less) anywhere Atto text editor is used, e.g. in an assignment using a text submission or in editing a course topic.
    - For longer videos, Microsoft 365 offers a video hosting product, Stream, where you can host videos you make for classes.
