BACDevicesWiFi

Devices that cannot use a username and password to connect to CollegeWiFi (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, etc) can be manually connected to BACDevicesWiFi.

Instructions

  1. Find the MAC address of the device you want to connect.
      • This is generally easy, but youYou may need to Google "How to find MAC address on <device type>"
      • MAC addresses will look like A1:B4:C5:C1:DD:3E or A1-B4-C5-C1-DD-3E
  2. Send the MAC address to helpdesk@brynathyn.edu along with the type of device you want to connect.
  3. Wait for confirmation from the helpdesk that we've added your device.
  4. Connect to BACDevicesWiFi on your device.

    5. Some devices use a randomized or "private" MAC address system that needs to be disabled when connecting to BACDevicesWiFi.
